Hotel Lodging

A special conference rate of $109.00 plus tax per room has been set up at the Riverport Inn & Suites Convention and Event Center, Winona, MN. Individual room reservations can be made directly with the hotel at (507) 452-0606 or the website https://www.riverportinn.com using group code MNPFF under the Rate Options section.

The room block is available from September 28 to October 1, 2026. All reservations must be made by August 27, 2026, to guarantee our group room rate. Reservations made after that point will be based on availability and the price set by the hotel.

MALTS Tuesday & Wednesday

The MPFF will be hosting a Political Training Academy on Tuesday starting with welcome reception at 11:00am and classes at noon. Wednesday we will continue with the PTA training with breakfast starting at 7:30am and class at 9:00am. Lunch will be provided on Wednesday. There is no cost to attend the PTA training.

2026 Convention

Wednesday evening, MPFF Presidents Scott Vadnais and Host Local 575 Winona will be hosting the President’s dinner beginning with a social hour and dinner to follow at Signatures Restaurant.

Convention Thursday

Convention will be held on Thursday October 1, 2026, starting at 8:00a.m. with opening ceremonies and will continue until business has been completed. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Registration/Credentials

Registration for the Convention will be $225.00 per Delegate/Alternate if received in the MPFF office byAugust 28, 2026. There will be a $50.00 per Delegate/Alternate late fee charged for all registrations received after August 28. It is highly recommended that you register and submit credentials prior to convention. On-site registration will be available on Wednesday between 8 am to 4 pm and on Thursday 7to 11 am. Credentials, Convention Check-in, and Seating

Every delegate/alternate must include a signed credential form with their registration to be seated at the Convention. Each delegate or alternate must check-in prior to 11:00 am on the day of the Convention. Check-in must be done in person. No other delegate or alternate may check-in for another delegate oralternate. North Dakota will follow their by-laws regarding credentialing.

Elections

Elections will be held on Thursday October 1, 2026, for the MPFF Secretary- Treasurer, Southern District Vice President, Southern District Trustee At-Large.

Convention Location

Nominations will be taken for the 2028 Convention in the Northern District.
